This doesn't really make any sense to me. Law school is 3 years, dude. Sitting out one cycle really doesn't seem like it would affect your (very strange) plan at all.

Then why wouldn't you try to bump up your score and go to the best school possible? If you have the privilege of attending law school for free, then shoot for a 168/169+ retake and ED your favorite T14 school.

Do you love America? American is the school for you. Don't worry about the USNWR rankings drop, it's really just all the T14 profs filing fake ballots.

None of the schools you've been admitted to thus far have nationwide prestige or accolade.

Your LOR selection is extremely problematic. No one cares about judges or political figures, T14 schools want to see ACADEMIC letters from professors who have evaluated your work in class or in thesis research. No one wants to see the boilerplate letter a senatorial aid stamped for you.

For YOUR stated goals: I think you should retake the LSAT, snag the best grades you can this semester and try to push over 3.55, and collect better (academic) letters of rec - toss the political figures or use them as supplements. You may want to revisit your PS too because based on what you've produced here (and I know this is anonymous, but it's indicative nonetheless), your style screams caustic entitlement.

Best of luck
