If you're dead set on California and that is a higher priority to you than Biglaw options elsewhere in the country, taking UCLA at $90k-100k COA is the best choice.

Agreed. Biglaw employers will go deeper into NU and Cornell's class, but if you want any law in L.A., I'd take the money.d cooper wrote:If you're dead set on California and that is a higher priority to you than Biglaw options elsewhere in the country, taking UCLA at $90k-100k COA is the best choice.

What did USC offer you? (Assuming you applied). They threw around a ton of coin this year, even to marginal candidates like me.
With USC and UCLA being almost interchangeable for CA job prospects, why aren't you considering them?
