1) nowhere outside hys is worth sticker. The cost is unfathomable .
2) NEGOTIATE. Or get off a WL and negotiate. If I remember correctly, this cycle only 700 ppl or something are applying with a 175 or better. Someone will need a 176.
3) I hesitate to say this, but with a stem background, you have much better employment prospects in IP lit etc than polisci shitheads like me in normal lit/corporate. This makes your school SLIGHTLY less important and minimizing your debt more important.
4) With a stem background, could you line up a well paying job if you need to sit out a year to go ED NU? This lowers your opportunity cost of sitting out a year by a lot (and greatly
Increases the opportunity cost of law school.)
5) Given a choice between Chi and CLS, it seems like CHi has much better geographical diversity in employment.
6) good luck bro

If you want clerkship and California, throw an app to UCI. I would imagine that 176 would get you a ton of $$$. (TLS hates the school though)
I wouldn't pay sticker thats for sure. What is your undergrad major? If you are IP eligible I would sit out this cycle and apply early to a wider range of schools or attend USC.

I would take CLS.
But that's just me.
