Kent has Greektown close by so it beats DePaul & John Marshall (both in the Loop) but they probably have more high end options if that's your thing.

Not sure what you're talking about, the option of adding guac to your Chipotle is equivalent at all three.

DePaul wins by virtue of the pedway. Kent also an option if you want to buy Chipotle to go and then eat it in a Freebirds.

Food in Chicago is supposed to be incredible, I wouldn't waste my meals/money at a TTT establishment like Chipotle.

Where are these schools located in relation to actual good food?

I say Kent wins that one. There are tons of fine dining options in the west loop. State street near depaul and loyola has a lop of chains. You'd have to go by the theatre district or wacker/river north to get any real deal food options. Not necessarily cheap though.

Obviously you know you have an uphill battle to employment at any of these schools, but in terms of alumni & viable network at firms in Chicago it's Depaul>>Kent>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>JM.

I know a kid on LR at Depaul and he at least got screeners at the big firms like Sidley, of course his actual job is with a Chicago gov't dept. If you can't retake do Depaul or Kent. Whatever you do don't do JM, it's rep is terrible.

None of these schools are doing to lead to gainful employment in law, and OP may well have to settle for a lower salary than if s/he bypassed law school. As lawyers we're directly told by the model rules that making a client feel good is not justification to give bad advice so maybe making jokes is the safest route. If OP can have all the data but still make a terrible decision by not retaking, it's important to have fun out there. If s/he were to develop a crack cocaine habit or consider suicide, other than saying don't do it, once it will be done the best thing to do is just make the person comfortable and happy. Chipotle is associated with joy.
