With regard to the UPenn "Scholarship" Deadline of April 10, does this apply only to the named scholarships? I looked through my notification email for a general Dean's Scholarship, and there wasn't any word about having to respond before the standard deposit deadline.

I also remember in the letter about filling out a form even if not depositing.

For Minnesota, mine is actually listed as 4/21.

Can anyone answer this? Deposits are supposed to be credited to your first semester tuition, right? So if you have a full scholarship, does this mean the money you put down towards the deposits are lost with no way to recover them? I could ask the school, but I feel like it will sounds ungrateful after what they've already given me...
