Do you have a spouse that earns a lot of money and can support the family on their own, or rich family who could support you? If not, then taking out massive debt for schools that give you less than a 50-50 shot of getting you a job while you have three young children to provide for is grossly irresponsible.

This thread is depressing. Not only is OP hellbent on selling him/herself short and going to a crappy school when great options are easily within reach, (s)he is sacrificing his/her family's long-term interests in the process. UMN with big money (or better) is easily within reach. Real shame to see people do this to themselves and those around them.

Yeah, it's one thing when some young single person has been presented with all the information needed to make an intelligent decision and yet opts for debt slavery and financial ruin. It's sad, but adults have the freedom to make awful life decisions. Reading threads like these, however, and realizing that innocents will likely suffer profound negative -- and entirely avoidable -- consequences as a result of a parent's stupidity and irresponsibility makes you sick to your stomach.romothesavior wrote:This thread is depressing.
