Dont waste that GPA, retake because these schools aren't worth their price. I hope you turn into a TLS success story and we see you stoked about your Duke acceptance with $$ next cycle

Well I can't imagine any scenario where you should ever pay more for Emory than Vandy. Take out Emory altogether (it's in the same market as Vandy, has worse placement, etc.)

bahhh yea I agree w/ you for our purposes. if OP refuses to retake tho a strong student at Vanderbilt can do very well in TN/GA/AL/MI and manage $150K so it wouldn't be the worst decision I've seen on this site

Yeah, of these choices I think Vandy is the best option but I would still feel very uncomfortable going there and needing big law. I personally wouldn't take on any more than 120K or so debt at any school outside the T13. Then again I'm more debt averse than most I think.

lol this is true but when we see kids going to UC Davis or Hastings for an even higher COA than OP or attending GWU at sticker, any idiocy to this decision just pales in comparison
