if he/she wants the chance to work biglaw for 2-3 yrs to pay off debt/lateral, go to Wustl. it also looks like the school employs the bottom 10% of their class, so that might be another marginal safety net.

It's irresponsible to say "if you want big law, just do WUSTL bro."

Probably WUSTL. If he is OK with staying in Indiana (and even that is iffy with no ties other than school) then maybe IU.
