I took 4 times, it did not affect me negatively at all. In fact, I only went up one point between my third retake and my fourth, and that one point made an enormous difference.

So yeah, definitely retake if you have it in you. Really it's one of the best bang-for-your-buck things you can do. One LSAT point can net you like, 40k extra in scholarship money. Where else can you make 40k at your age with just a few months of work?

Just to update everyone I was going to go against what you all said and pay sticker at UM but today I got my acceptance to UNC, which at sticker is almost the same and ranked about 30 higher
