FWIW, I go to UG in Jersey and can assure you that SHU is a flaming pile of shit and here's why you shouldn't go there -- my friend goes to SHU on a half tuition scholarship. Her section was stacked with all of the major scholarship winners during 1L so half of them lose their scholarships no matter what post 1L. Save yourself the time and debt and retake. If you don't want to retake, then look at RU.

Doesn't take localized knowledge of the Jersey area to figure out that Seton Hall at less than full ride is likely a bad deal.bigkahuna2020 wrote: You know nothing about Jersey or NYC, so you should see your way out.
Also, given that DF is an engineer IRL, I'm pretty sure he's already made more money than the majority of Seton Hall graduates can hope for ITE.

Dude I know a millionaire who never finished high school. Obviously bro, that's what people should do.
Why didn't that earthquake hit NJ?

I wouldn't go to steton hall unless you want to deal with this:

Maybe right out of law school. That being said, if you think engineers fresh out of school make tons of money (even PI shitlaw in NJ makes you 50-55k out of law school) you are mistaken. Most of my family are engineers, and one almost went back to school to SHU to tru to crack the dreaded 80k ceiling.dresden doll wrote: Also, given that DF is an engineer IRL, I'm pretty sure he's already made more money than the majority of Seton Hall graduates can hope for ITE.

And TLS ruins a legit thread, again, with some elitist douchiness.

My ex is an engineer. Last I heard, he was making 90k per year (he's now about four years out of school). 90k > 50k, particularly when PI shitlaw in NJ becomes difficult to obtain and you're stuck struggling with LS debt.bigkahuna2020 wrote:Maybe right out of law school. ITE DD defends DF like the good friend she is, but accidentally trolls is illogical choice to go to lawl school.

fordham.
Seton hall biglaw/midlaw is prob betwee 5-10%.
Fordham is around 25% maybe slightly higher.
If you want to be risk adverse, go to fordham your first year, then drop out if you arent in the top 1/3 of your class.
In all likelihood, the full ride at Seton Hall will waste 3 years of your life.

Seton Hall has a terrifying curve. OP, go to Fordham, since you won't have COL loans.thexfactor wrote:fordham.

Also, I know something about NJ firms and go to one of the other NJ schools. I would not have gone to SHU if they paid me.
