LSN makes it look like we're shooting for a 168 median, but Illinois definitely is as well so who knows if that's doable. Vandy moving to a 169 creates a to be filled at 168, but WUSTL probably has a little bit of an inside track against Illinois due to private v. public, funding for scholarships, and location. If the admissions office is smart, they'll sacrifice some of the huge class size to which they've expanded over the past few years in order to make a numbers jump more manageable. UIUC's median was 166 last year. I doubt they can go from 166-168.
It might stir up some talk amongst hiring partners. It might not make a short term diff, but over the long term if wustl can consistently stay in the top 18 or 19 who knows what will happen.
All they have to do is take less 1Ls and take more transfers. Increase transfer size to 70 and decrease 1L size to 200.

Does anyone know when these are supposed to come out? I don't even know how you're supposed to choose a school until the new rankings are published!
