Yah, but that is true of professors at EVERY school. Not really a selling factor.
OP, I don't think I was clear enough in my initial response. While TJ is the better of the two options, you really should not be considering either of these schools. I am sure they will teach you everything you need to know and are fine places to learn the law, but they cannot get you the job you would need to validate the expense of attending. They are simply competing with too many better schools. I would retake and reapply or find another profession.

ITT 0L's make bold employment claims with no backing while discounting what current (or former rather, kind of in limbo ATM) students who are familiar with the school say.

touche. I just get a bit heated when I see blind TJ bashing on here. I really couldn't have enjoyed myself more 1L year there. The profs are great and everyone is helpful and nice. Ya, it is going to be an uphill battle to get a job from anywhere ITE but coming from TJ you will def get the training and in class experience you need.

Highly doubt this.
Dead serious, if I didnt hear it myself I would doubt it too, so your skepticism doesnt surprise me.

Which is what I (not a 0L) readily admitted. Unfortunately, that is not the measure of a good law school. Law school is first and foremost an investment in job opportunities. TJ doesn't have that.

OP: TLS gives out some tough love, often in the form of harshly delivered or even overtly rude advice.
If you want to get some rosier, glass-half-full projections of legal employment prospects from lower-ranked schools such as NYLS and TJ, I'd advise you create a thread and copy and paste your original post into the following forums:
xoxohth.com
jdunderground.com
Good luck in all your future endeavors.

My advice in general is pretty much always retake unless you can make it into a truly national school or the best school in the region/state with money.
So yeah.

it comes down to networking either way, go to TJ and you will have to work extra hard to get your foot in the door, if you do get a chance at an interview, although the odds are against you, a solid interview speaks volumes. Graduating from a T-14, albeit is a tremendous advantage, inability to communicate or talk like a normal person is a huge blow. Law school is what you make of it.

I think it's because me, MiamiMan, and Romothesavior troll the boards almost always offering the sage wisdom of "retake; reapply" accompanied by memes and snark.

I think, if you're gong to live on loans and take a gamble with a 60% chance of unemployment, you should live in the most expensive place in the U.S.
Yep...that sounds about right.

Still makes no sense, as you are clearly not the "only one a girl can count on to tell people to retake," stress on the only.
Doesn't matter. The comment just doesn't seem to have a basis in reality, and I thought that was weird. Lets move on.
