Re: Top Party Schools
Not surprised that Baylor Law is at the bottom (though there are plenty of pretty people there, contrary to what Above The Law says). Waco is Texas's very own pit of Hell and the party scene for Baylor undergrads is mediocre too (Greek life is underwhelming there and there's no shortage of teetotaling evangelists).
Houston was more of a surprise considering they're in the 4th largest city in the country. I realize there's probably a significant number of non-traditionals and commuters but still.

BU ranked #79? Have these people ever been in the city of Boston?
Being neighbors with fenway park is definitely a buzzkill.

This thread is crap but how the hell did Seattle get pegged as a party school? Seattle is awesome and all but nothing on the warm weather schools.

Worth noting that the field of "party law" is evolving, and rankings could fluctuate in the next few years as HYS try to steal away the leading scholars

Hahaha. This is a good one. A couple years ago UofA played BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl. The hotel scenes leading up to the game all week were hilarious. You had fans decked out in red and blue dancing on tables, pouring shots down each other's throats, girls screaming "UofAAAAA," and licking each other's faces... it was nuts! And, all the while, BYU fans are in the corner eating ice cream.D. H2Oman wrote:BYU
UofA probably beats asu out for top party school. Am I biased? Yes, I'm a Wildcat, and I cannot concede defeat to asu in anything. But, hear me out. UofA is smaller and Tucson is just not that big--everything is pretty central. I partied with the law students quite a bit; it seemed like the law school was kind of like a frat, in the sense that they all got along and attended the same parties, bars, and such--not in the sense that they were douche bags. It was a really awesome environment. Completely the opposite of what I heard people were like at law school, as far as cut-throat nature and all. I would imagine Phoenix being so big and all, everybody probably ends up doing there own thing and thinking they are too-cool-for-school. Just my opinion, though.

That same bartender will be going home with your chick because you will probably take her out and try to talk about work all night. Lighten up, dude...NoJob wrote:You better enjoy the fun. Boston University School of Law.
I know BU's undergrad isn't a party school. But our weekly bar reviews have copious free beer and 150+ students. It is insane.

Take it from me, FSU is the wildest party school and has the most beautiful women. Coincidentally, I had a friend at Penn State and a friend at Arizona State, and they both said that their schools couldn't even compare to FSU, which reaffirmed my assumption.

Re: Top Party Schools
IMO, Tucson sucks. Wanna see real parties? Drive for 2 hours to Old Town Scottsdale. The most beautiful women (outside of maybe LA and San Diego) go to clubs there. Besides it is actual nightlife, not just some hole-in-the-wall bars. If you like well dressed crowd, good music, and metropolitan atmosphere, forget about UofA and go to ASU.boat343 wrote:Hahaha. Is your friend from ASU blind or didn't go to main campus? I am not saying ASU has much prettier girls than FSU, but they are definitely very comparable.Bless wrote:Take it from me, FSU is the wildest party school and has the most beautiful women.
