Elaborate on this. 30k per year? lump sum for 1L and that's it? Also, when you are talking about roughly $208,000 for all three years, is saving 30k really going to matter? you're still in a pretty big hole at 178k.

If you can realistically score at least in the high 160's, low 170's on an LSAT retake then I still think retake/reapply is better.

Your advice is sound, but, believe it or not, I fulfilled my LSAT quota. And you are right, I was testing in the 165-168 range. Alas, whatever will be will be.

Wait, so you're looking at ~80K worth of debt coming out of Fordham Law. I don't think that's too bad, especially considering if you already have a local attorney connection who is willing to pay you 10K a year just to go to school. S/he could probably help you find a job after graduation, no? Anyways, if you're sure that you want to stay in the NY area... I would take Fordham.

Whoops! What the 120,00 is referencing is vague. The debt would be 120,000. The attorney has been trying like hell to get a student at my undergrad student to 1) get accepted at Fordham and 2) go there. He is based in the capital region though. However, I have interned for the law school's former Dean. I'm rather prideful though (that is to say, stupid) and I don't like to ask for favors of that nature. In fact, I don't think I even told him I was applying to Fordham!
