Generally so, but the OP has decently compelling reasons to go with Duke.FuManChusco wrote:The only school you turn down Harvard/Stanford for is Yale.

So I sent my deposit to Duke today via FedEx. Still kinda wondering if I'm crazy, but the lawyers and law students I've talked to made it sound like a good choice either way (and if this many people on such a prestige-obsessed forum voted for Duke, well...). So barring any panicky last-minute changes, I'll be in Durham this fall.

Duke. Ten years out of law school employers will be much more interested in what you accomplished over those ten years then where you attended law school. And ten years after law school, knowledgeable people will be rightfully impressed that you graduated from Duke Law School.

Congrats. I totally think you made the right choice. You will get a T-10 education with no huge debt load. Pretty much anyone would kill to have that. Good luck.
