I think you are okay. Try to get a PT job during your 2nd and 3rd years. I am going to try and work at the library next year. $11/hr aint bad for study hall :P
I'm pretty close with a UG polisci professor at UCD. He basically told me that if I want a TA job, he will give me one. I haven't even asked what it pays yet though.

Ok, so basically choose Pepperdine or Loyola over Davis if you want to work in L.A.
