I would think its something like the decision making process in other life changing endeavors. People who decide they want to have a baby don't know they will be happy with it. They have never been a parent before. Also, people who embark on any other career (doctors, engineers, clergymen, etc). I'm thinking people make the decision extrapolating on their own experiences and things they have heard/read/seen.

FYI It's Unamerican to not have huge, looming, potentially crushing debt. FYI: America's gross debt will be 99% of the GDP in a year or two. Be a patriot and 'invest' now. Afterall, you don't want to be debt free. That'd be communism.

Ya, we're fucked for good. Just like in the great depression when the stated unemployment rate was 25%, so probably actual unemployment in the 30%'s. Never quite were the same after that one

lolerz. i like how you said America is "fucked for good" in one sentence then in the next quote a time when our economy was much worse yet we are still around. We survived and in fact have done quite well for ourselves in America since the Great Depression.
