If I had to estimate raw BigLaw potential from either school for class of 2013, it'd be like 50% chance from Michigan vs. 75% chance from Chicago. Rough estimate. But I'd say that's worth a $45,000 outlay.

Out of curiosity, what would your conjecture look like for the T13?

I'm guessing 40% to 50% with good chance at big firm jobs. As opposed to ~90% in the boom economy.

It's a $55K outlay (also have to factor in COL differences) but I'd otherwise agree, if your projection is right about how big of a gap that is.

It's going to be really fascinating to see what happens over the next few years.
