To escape the cold. Was snowing dramatically this morning, now sort of blue skies. Am listening to a law school conversation (I think) behind me.

This is why I could never ever live there for any real length of time. I got snowed in here in VA for only a couple days and wanted to /killself by the time the roads were clear again.

of course, we are not in Virginia, and it does not take multiple days for the roads to be cleared

Yeah, a small snow storm blew through this afternoon and they were plowing within 30 min of thing hitting town. I hardly had time to notice, let alone bitch about it.

Collegetown Bagel was a pretty cool spot. Good asian food in downtown Ithaca. I kind of dug the bar next to the bagel place. ...It's probably a little cold to check out the 'falls. (That's why I visited in September )

well, what did you eat and how was your visit?

My visit was good! The Avon center seemed really interesting and I enjoyed my talks with the faculty. Lovely little Hogwarts building. I think I ran into an unpleasant mix of law/grad students one night out, but that was the only negative. That and the cold, but I adapted.

Ate at Collegetown Bages, Rulloffs, Chapter House, Starbucks (whatever, I wanted my familiar skinny vanilla latte) and this little asian place that was shockingly good.
