Oh snap, we were editing NH at the same time. I undid my revisions. We had all kinds of employment and costs headings on that page.
I didn't even notice that. What I did notice was the claim of an average starting salary of $120,000 for Private Sector

Wow, I don't even know where they got that number.

This is their 2012 NALP Report (PDF), which lists the median private sector, long-term, bar passage required salary as $100k. That's actually not as bad as I thought it would be, except only 60% reported their salary.

Was looking for some Wikipedia guidelines for articles about academic institutions and I noticed that there has been some discussion about our project: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... udent_debt

It would probably be good if some people can chime in explaining why we think employment and cost information should be included.

Recently different law school articles are featuring/sprouting sections about post-graduation student debt and employment rates. See, for example: University of La Verne College of Law and/or California Western School of Law. This raises some questions:
Are other university or professional school articles showing such sections?
If not, should they?
If they should not, then should law school articles alone contain such sections?
If such sections are acceptable (for law schools or in general), where and how in the article structure should such info be presented?
If such sections are not acceptable, is such information (as opposed to sections) acceptable in university or professional school articles?
If such information is not acceptable, can we develop a guideline which clarifies the use of such information?

Comments are welcome.--S. Rich (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
I don't think it was much of a problem. Check the date on that comment.

I'm actually going through a list of flash games that make you think about life. Some of them are actually really brilliant. I'll link them all since you like games. My favorites so far are: Immortall, The Company of Myself, I Can Hold my Breath Forever, The End Of Us (actually listen to some good music while you play, it's so basic but it's great. You can beat it in 4 minutes), Flight (prob my favorite flash game of all time), and The Infinite Ocean (this took me awhile to beat but it fucking raped my mind).

Can someone add this photo advertisement to Golden Gate University's wiki article with an explanation that the bridge pictured in the advertisement is not actually the Golden Gate Bridge? It's the Bay Bridge. LOL

Image

GG University. So misleading it features the wrong bridge in an advertisement meant to make you think it's next to the Golden Gate Bridge.

thank you all for putting in the time to make this project happen
as i said earlier, bc of what we've done here, thousands of prospective law students will be exposed to the information they need to make informed decisions about attending law schools
i'm drunk so pardon my sentimentality, but i think we probably changed some people's lives for the better
and hopefully will be contributing to the decline of a few particularly egregious scam schools
u guys all rock

in a few minutes i'll update the op with instructions about how to enter the raffle
check there for next steps
