They're being released online first. USNWR got smart and there will be no print articles for NYers to snag a few days early as there were in the past.beachbum wrote:One would think.mavsman88 wrote:Shouldn't they be leaked by now?

So many T's for TTTransformation. Definitely not T14 material.

This is how the employment criteria are calulated:
2) Bar passage rate should be counted as more than the current 0.02%
I think 1) the bolded is B.S.Graduates who are working or pursuing graduate degrees are considered employed. Employment rates are measured at graduation (.04 weight ) and nine months after graduation (.14 weight). For the nine-month employment rate, 25 percent of those whose status is unknown are counted as employed. Those who are unemployed and not seeking jobs are excluded from the calculations and are not counted as unemployed. Those who are unemployed and seeking work are counted as unemployed in the calculations of the employment rates.

Bar passage is a BS measure for highly ranked schools because it is difference from the mean and not absolute. It winds up advantaging schools whose graduates primarily take a bar exam with a low pass rate and disadvantaging schools where the rate is higher.99.9luft wrote:This is how the employment criteria are calulated:I think 1) the bolded is B.S.Graduates who are working or pursuing graduate degrees are considered employed. I don't know where it was, but someone made a thread to talk about who would go where if USNWR broke up the number 28 spot.brose wrote:Where?Marionberry wrote:FuManChusco wrote:this must be a joke...Marionberry wrote:Waiting to see who falls out of the T28.Did you miss that thread?

Bar passage rate should not be counted at all. Grads take the bar in different states so you can't make an apples to apples comparison. However, if a school had an abysmal bar passage rate, like less than 80%, that could be used to instantly drop it into TTT.99.9luft wrote:This is how the employment criteria are calulated:I think 1) the bolded is B.S.Graduates who are working or pursuing graduate degrees are considered employed. gotcha marionberry. I think I might have missed that one. Although my memory of TLS threads is poor at best.
I was thinking you're on the boards to much to 1.) care about that or 2.) think it's even reasonable to bring it up. lol
