This is why I don't blame anyone for turning down HYS for a full scholarship elsewhere.
you also have literally zero options. you must do biglaw even if you hate it and hope last enough years to pay down enough to take a lower paying job.
No. That's not how it works at those schools.

And unlike most places those three don't require you to do public interest work. The problem with biglaw from HYS is staying in and having to pay your own way; those people would have been better off taking the money.

Non-recent law grad should be at 5. A lot of these folks are incredibly misleading, disconnected from the present reality, and far too optimistic. "Oh yeah, it's a tough market. But everyone who really sticks to it does alright in the end." "Sure, it's a lower-ranked school, but I know a lot of great attorneys from there! I'm sure you would do well." "Yeah it was difficult, but now I'm making $100,000 a year running my own firm! Hard work and a good head blah blah blah..." This shit is almost endemic in attorneys over age 40 or so.

This. I think 3Ls toward the spring semester are reasonably worth listening to, but at no other time. Very, very few realize just how f'd they are until graduation rolls around and they are jobless.

Another reason why it's not safe to assume there will be as many law jobs (including biglaw jobs) 3-4 years into the future:

--LinkRemoved--

Don't go to law school unless it's almost free and it's either a) best in your state, or b) in the T30 or so (and still almost free).
