You know who went to Harvard? VANWINKLE. He went to Harvard and Havarded the fuck out of 6 Harvards while one Harvard sat on his Harvard. I was in the corner, my flaccid Harvard watching all the Harvard going on, and I thought I saw Harvard Prof Elizabeth Warren Harvard Ted Cruz right up the Harvard. Needless to say, Harvard was had that day, I tell you.
Harvard.
Harvard.

i'm pretty chill, and most hls people (including me, and emu, once she has spent time here) will never (or seldom) mention harvard in real life. it's just funny on tls because it always riles the chicago and columbia students up when you mention harvard (something like your generic sibling rivalry).t-14orbust wrote:The ones I met at ASW were chillBlessedassurance wrote:by the way for hls admits watching this thread...harvard people are actually pretty cool. most of this discussion was in jest.
if you meet yale students, you'll realize harvard is about 10 times as chill.

This is most definitely true, especially when it's so indistinguishable that even the person doing the satirizing isn't quite sure it's satire.

Lol. No, it really doesn't. I love when Harvard grads say "I went to a school near Boston." It's the dumbest humblebrag of all time. The only insultling part is assuming we'll be jealous of you.

I love how BA flips the switch from telling someone he/she must have learning disabilities in a derogatory way during an angry rant, to kind, friendly, and chill school ambassador in a matter of minutes.

I'm not going to white knight BA, because he is a rancid sperglord, but I was pretty clearly asking for it.Princetonlaw68 wrote:I love how BA flips the switch from telling someone he/she must have learning disabilities in a derogatory way during an angry rant, to kind, friendly, and chill school ambassador in a matter of minutes.

Regardless of whether you were asking for it, that comment could be taken offensively by people who aren't you. It was not very school ambassador-like.
(I was really mostly joking and I don't see BA as a bad guy. Mostly just wrote this post for sake of argument. My original post about it was in jest.)

i basically never insult people first (except the one time i called jbagel's SO a shrew, for which i was banned).Princetonlaw68 wrote:I love how BA flips the switch from telling someone he/she must have learning disabilities in a derogatory way during an angry rant, to kind, friendly, and chill school ambassador in a matter of minutes.
i've been banned countless times for basically making harmless jokes etc. but i'm seriously in the top 10 percentile of chill law school bros.
