Dying to see BC's numbers; hope they have a proportionate jump.
BU had a big jump in the NLJ250, whereas BC remained relatively static this year. They are still about the same in that regard. I'm curious if BC went up, too..have a completely unbased hunch that BU will be a little bit higher.

BU did the Michigan open kimono thing and listed all of their full-time employers, plus organizations where they are funding jobs:

So schools have this data from the survey but they choose not to publish it?

Yale released:

32% firms (71/222), 34.7% clerkships (77/222) = 66.7% total

I'll update the chart when I get home

Just taking a quick look, there was a big increase in JD Advantage jobs from C/O 2011 to C/O 2012. 3.9% to 9.46%. Weird.

Probably noise. With Yale's small class size, that's like 10 students.

Wisconsin:

9.9% (+.01) + 1.0% (-.06) = 10.9% (-.05)

Yeah this makes me wonder if my fan girling for Boalt could be unwarranted once they finally post

If the NJL250 data is any indication, they will probably be in the high 50's or low 60's - similar to their peers.

quick note: for at least YHS, some of those business jobs are not "under employed". Plenty of people choose banking or consulting over V10 firms.

Hence n / 2 and the intentionally conservative nature of the underemployed calculation.

Vandy

Pretty much the same

30.7(-1.5) + 13.0(+2.2) = 43.7(+0.7)

that's the percentage of employed; as a % of the class, it's 30.7% x (182/196) and 13.0% x (182/196) = 40.6, which is still pretty good

The way Vandy released these stats was needlesly confusing

Also no way to calculate FT/LT jobs

lol, just lol

Gotta wait for LST to do the work for them from the ABA reports

Oh I see...

So, this? 28.5(-3.7) + 12.1(+1.3) = 40.6(-2.4)

BC doesn't break out federal vs. other clerkships on their website, so we'll have to wait for the ABA data. Large firm placement was down slightly, but total people in clerkships went from 42 down to 15.

At least somewhat due to discontinuing the school funded state clerkships.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
