sounds a little brokeback mouintany to meBuilding a History of Leadership
Haynes and Boone is a relatively young law firm, but one with an impressive and respected history. We began from the efforts and dreams of one lawyer, Richard Haynes, who was soon joined by his colleague and former student Mike Boone. Together they and many other talented individuals built an organization around collaboration and mutual respect, and on absolute dedication to providing clients with value.
That Haynes and Boone today is one of America’s largest law firms testifies to the strength of their vision.

school mostly through borrowing.
I still think HLS is probably the right call. Going to school for free at any of CCN is an awesome, awesome opportunity and will relieve a lot of the stress that most students face. The way that I looked at it though, is that Harvard is better for any possible legal job and may be immeasurably better if you switch careers later on in your life. Paying back the loans will suck no doubt, but LIPP exists if you want to go the public route and if you stay in the private sector, you'll be ok financially.
Edit: either way, win-win. Congrats dude.

Celtics > Bulls
Patriots > Bears
Red Sox > White Sox > Cubs
The choice seems pretty clear to me.
Seriously, the clerkship possibilities from HLS are better, and options are there from a larger number of BigLaw firms than from UChi. Although, when you kill it at either one, you're gonna be fine anyway.

also all the Chicago girls i know think Northwestern > UChicago in terms of prestige. not that you can date townies from Hyde Park anyway, too isolated. and all the girls in the UChicago system are uncute.Desert Fox wrote:"Oh, my brother goes to UIC!"IAFG wrote:another thought: "University of Chicago" does not drop panties.
