Also, just wanted to point out that USNWR is finally reporting what we all know: California is a TTT state in rapid decline. With the addition of FSU into the T1, it's only a matter of time before Florida reclaims its rightful place as America's favorite paradise.

How many other states can boast not only TWO T1 law schools, but ELEVEN of the most prestigious schools in the country? Plus, California relies way too heavily on public law schools. With 8 private law schools, Florida knows where it's at.

I'm perfectly happy with the fact that FSU has risen into the top 50 and that UF bumped two spots also, but doesn't Cali basically quality on your other two points?

I'm in Ca now and admitted to UF, and I'm seriously considering attending a regional flagship vs. my Ca choices. Overall lower starting salaries in Fl does cause me to pause, though.

Edit: Edit, all private law schools in Fl are TTT or TTTT. Can't really rag on state schools when both T1s in Fl are state schools.

I have always thought that Top-Law-Schools.com should publish its own rankings. Our criteria would be more transparent and I think we could give the US News a run for its money.

I've lived in Cali, but I like Florida. Especially Miami. I've heard UF and FSU are cool college towns.

To respond to your previous post, I could go to USC Law, walk down the street a few blocks, and find a taco truck with a halfway decent burrito. The same is true of UCLA Law. Loyalty to a chain like Freebirds isn't necessary because you could always find decent stuff in Southern California.

I lived in LA for two years, and probably ate Mexican food 3 times a week at least, and simply cannot believe the above scenario.
When it comes to tacos, LA is a great city, but it is severely lacking in delicisious burritos. Of course, I did not hit up EVERY place that served a burrito there, but I did extensively google and yelp "best burrito places in LA" and tried those places specifically, always ending in disappointment when compared to Freebirds. I am only loyal to Freebirds because it is the best, as soon as I find a place better I will be the first to admit it.
