Re: 2013 Rankings
No, they won't. Rising from 95 to 82 in rankings is meaningless to any employer. This will have absolutely no impact on the employment prospects of graduates.muaathali wrote:I wonder if more employers will begin to come out to Michigan State now that it has risen in rankingsR86 wrote:muaathali wrote:Can someone please post the numbers for Michigan State College of Law?? "The ABA will start requiring more detailed jobs placement data for the 2011 graduating class that will require law schools to reveal such key stats as how many graduates had jobs that are full time or part time, short term or long term, and that actually require the J.D. degree. U.S. News plans to incorporate this more granular data into our methodology for future rankings."

"Assessment score by lawyers/judges (0.15): About 12 percent of those lawyers and judges surveyed responded."

So, 15% of the score was based on the opinion of 90 people across the country? Cool.splitbrain wrote:"Assessment score by lawyers/judges (0.15): About 12 percent of those lawyers and judges surveyed responded."

GW's 9 month employment rate? Their 56% on graduation seems like it's either too honest or a terrible reflection on their CSO.
