I know this sounds banal, but you'll get into one of these schools. You need to apply to GT, it is one of the more "willing" T14 next to Cornell (my school). However, softs would boost you up a bit (considering your gpa) Have a good PS and I think you'll be in contention considering you are URM.

I don't know much about URM admissions, but I would apply to all the t14. URM splitters seem to have weird results, but I think your GPA may be mitigated by your major. Don't bother with Seton Hall or Cincinnati. GL!

Thank you for your responses. Money is a factor, so I didn't apply to georgetown because they didn't offer me a fee waiver (and also they don't accept LSAC waivers). I will send them a email to try; maybe I'll apply anyways.

Not accepting LSAC waivers? How weird. They gave me a merit-based fee waiver last cycle, but denied someone else with similar numbers, so I'm not sure what their basis is for giving out waivers. Definitely worth a try!

Correction, they do accept LSAC fee waivers. GT was simply the only school that did not state it at the BEGINNING of the application.

Apply to the whole T14 minus HYS. A retake in December in the 168+ might even make that worth it, though.

Also, retake regardless. If you can get 167+, you'll probably get some decent scholarship money from the low T14.
