Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I was waitlisted at Penn. Should I reply to stay on the waitlist with the additional supplementals? Or should I just reply saying "Please keep me on the waitlist." and then send them over later?
Thanks
Thanks

Anybody have any insight on the James Wilson Scholly "consideration"?
Is the essay just ceremonial, or is it really used to determine nomination/amount?
Any idea what percentage of those invited to write essays actually get $$$?
Thanks

I think the bulk of the people invited for these scholarships that write the essay do end up getting them. I suspect the essays are mostly used to filter out people who aren't interested in order to keep a better grasp of what FA allocations they can make.mdu wrote:Anybody have any insight on the James Wilson Scholly "consideration"?

Anyone have any idea how many of the Wilson scholarships are handed out per class? Wouldn't really be in the running for a Levy and I think there's only 2 Silverman-Rodin ones per year

Has anyone who has been accepted recently (since February 8th) been invited to apply for the Toll Public Interest scholarship?

Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
You actually have to go UR2. Your file has to be reviewed by at least two separate admissions officers before you can be accepted and you'll get a date change when the second person starts reviewing your app (UR2)freshprinceoflaw wrote:Do most, if not all, people at least go UR2 before being accepted? Or is it possible after UR1?

[quote="Dexter97"]So does it usually happen in the morning or afternoon?
The last two decision days it's started around 12 and 2, respectively. So it varies a bit, but early afternoon looks like the best bet.
