Hello,

I was wondering, how are law school interviews conducted? are they face to face, skype, or are there pre set questions that your answer and upload your recording.

I am usually good at interviews but bombed my first time uploading a recording for a job interview( kind of odd not having a person on the other side/or a Skype type format which kind of threw me off)

What Mack said. Also, don't worry about it too much, since law school interviews mostly seem to function as a way to screen out actual sociopaths. The two interviews I felt worst about by far were with schools who later admitted me with a full ride.

Skype usually, but also in person if you're close or will be close. I personally prefer in person.

As the people above me have said, it's usually skype. From my own limited experience, they usually don't ask for an interview though. Sometimes it's offered as an option so it might be a good way to show interest, especially if you are good at interviewing. But several of the schools that I got near full scholarship offers from offered interviews and I didn't bother to schedule one.
