I was joking that I would wear one that said "Harvard Law, just kidding, just kidding"

Are you gonna / have you emailed them, or is there a time to meet with them on Monday or are you just gonna walk in and see what happens? I don't have the schedule in front of me right now but I also want to meet with someone from SFS
I called. They said Monday is an open house for everyone so no appointments, but people can walk in and see someone from there, and if that doesn't work can set up a phone convo. Hope this helps!!

Is it just me or is the HLS admissions office the nicest and most engaged ? My interviewer responds close to immediately whenever I have questions and has connected me with literally any kind of person I've asked. They are so remarkably on it -- SLS hasn't even come close so far.

Also, considering that they get more apps than the rest of the top three, the fact that they're so much more engaged and quick with everything is very surprising to me.

(What I'm saying is, I'm super psyched for this weekend, basically.)

I got my ASW schedule for Saturday evening. Let's play a game: which current student is TripTrip?

Hint: I'm more handsome than my avatar.

I haven't yet, but I've built in 3hrs of extra travel time, so I should be okay. Thanks for the heads up, though. That'll give me plenty of time to memorize the mock class reading.

Is it a bad sign that I already forgot that they gave me reading to do? I got something about China.

This is a gross exaggeration. Just add 30 minutes to their estimated arrival time and you'll be fine. The trip does not take 7-8 hours lol.

I haven't read it yet but mine is something about Brown v. Board of Education.

I'm arriving tomorrow around midday, can't wait!

Re the sweatshirt, I have one in DC and I have worn it occasionally. Ppl react weirdly (ordering a drink at Sbux= "YO HARVARD!")

Re finding TripTrip and others at ASW, can we all have some magic secret TLS handshake or something... I don't really want to go up to randoms and say "YO ARE YOU ON TOP LAW SCHOOLS DOT COM?! DO WE KNOW EACH OTHER?!" (having said that, I think I know what like 10 or so of you look like... so...)

Same here. I got Wardlaw vs Peck. Wonder how many different classes they will have, and also wonder how many accepted students will be in attendance...

+2 Also, very into the TLS secret handshake idea. I had some very awkward moments at the first NYC meet-up when I brought up TLS...

And is it cheating if I already know who TripTrip is because he was his usual amazing self when I was in @harvard.edu email distress? (Thanks again for that TripTrip!)

I got Brown v Board... I went to the Columbia ASP yesterday, and they split everyone up into mock classes based on the case that was in your email. I didn't actually stay that long so I couldn't tell you more than that, lol.

What kinds of questions do they ask at these things? Like random jeopardy-type questions?
