I know this sounds ridiculous but got one offer from a V5 and one from a V25. The V25 right after my offer, I got emails from my interviewers congratulating me and saying they hope to see me in their summer class. But I got nothing from the V5. Is this typical? Or am I just not as wanted at the V5 (for reference: I had a connection at the V5 so feeling like I might’ve just gotten a courtesy offer to please the partner). But now it’s kind of making me question if I should take the V5

Also, does anyone know how easy it is to split with the NY office at S&C? I know the site says it's possible but I don't know if that means it's a standard thing they regularly approve or just technically possible.

I got the HTE from STB last year and literally never heard from them again. Chances are slim because they’re only going to add you if they don’t add enough from OCI.
