Interviews...???

Post by runningzigzag » Tue Nov 09, 2010 7:21 pm

I keep seeing posts on here about interviews for law schools. Did I miss something, because I always thought law schools did not interview and they just went by your application package (ie. LSAT, GPA, Resume, Softs, Personal Statement, LOR's, etc.).

FYI: I have no plans of attending a T-14...I am shooting for a school in my home state.

Thanks in advance.

NU strongly recommends interviews for all applicants. Some schools like Duke and Cornell request interviews as a form of yield protection.

Northwestern all but requires an interview. Vandy recommends it, but it doesn't seem to be necessary. A handful of other schools (Duke, GULC) will choose to interview certain applicants.

Thanks for the responses...I have zero plans of applying to those schools anyhow...at least I know what to look for now.
