Multiple Deposits?

Hey everyone,

Long time "lurker" (yeah I know everyone hates those) first time poster.

I have my final decision pretty much narrowed down to 2 schools. I was wondering, if I can't make a final decision on the two (waiting for a possible scholarship from one of them) if it is poor form to send first deposits to both schools? I wasn't sure if this was a jerk move or if it was common amongst prospective students.

Let me know your thoughts, all opinions are appreciated

Are there any law schools that make it binding to put down a deposit?

Besides early decision, I don't think so. Though if you send them a letter telling them that you'd accept definitively if admitted --> they admit you u --> you put down the deposit(s) --> and then you withdraw to attend another school, then I wouldn't be surprised if you get blacklisted in some way...

Not that I am aware of. Perhaps some awful TTT schools.

Sometimes deposits are binding if a scholarship has been awarded & accepted.

That is what I was wondering about especially since some schools make you accept the scholarship separately from enrollment
