Number of Full Rides T14 Schools Give Out [data]
Thought 0Ls could know more about the proportion of full rides given out by T14s, which may help choosing. First Column is total full tuition or plus scholarships from the 2013-2014 cycle and in parentheses is YTD this cycle. Data from LSN.
Columbia: 20 (16)
Chicago: 22 (6)
NYU: 22 (5)
Penn: 12 (2)
UVA: 29 (30)
Berkeley: 0 (3)
Michigan: 14 (13)
Duke: 10 (14)
Cornell: 31 (8)
NW: 32 (5)
GULC: 0* (0)
*There were no full tuition i.e. 150k+ scholarships for GULC on LSN, there were 6 scholarships over 120k and below 150k last cycle however.
Matriculant Full Ride Data (data from 2014 ABA 509s, covers last 3 years):
Columbia: 13 full tuition
Chicago: 9 full tuition 51 more than full tuition
NYU: 103 full tuition
Penn: 35 full tuition 2 more than full tuition
UVA: 46 full tuition 8 more than full tuition
Berkeley: 0 full tuition 22 more than full tuition
Michigan: 14 full tuition 12 more than full tuition
Duke: 13 full tuition
Cornell: 0 full tuition*
NW: 1 full tuition 4 more than full tuition*
GULC: 1 full tuition
* NW and Cornells 150k scholarships fall in the half-full category, so it is hard to tell how many were given. There were 125 half to full tuition schollies at NW and 60 at Cornell FWIW.

Is the Northwestern figure based on their $150k ED scholarships? If so, that isn't a full tuition scholarship. I mean it was 5 years ago, but now tuition is over $56k not to mention other fees/expenses and the scholarship hasn't changedMack.Hambleton wrote:Thought 0Ls could know more about the proportion of full rides given out by T14s, which may help choosing. I could be wrong but I'm not sure Northwestern gives out ANY actual "full scholarships"

you're right its up to 56k now, I'm guessing it doesn't include fees either which is shitty.

Where are you getting the 12 Levys at Penn YTD? I only see two on LSN and we've only recorded six on TLS.
Edit: Jk I must be dyslexic.

I'm pretty sure NU is giving out 165K full rides now. Dunno if the ED scholly increased to that too though.bearsfan23 wrote:Is the Northwestern figure based on their $150k ED scholarships? FYI haven't looked through the rest but 2 of the 6 Ruby's listed here as having been given out are from last years applicants who just messed up their cycle data or w/e - so more accurate would be 24 (4)

I think 10 people have posted Rubies on TLS btw. I know we're staying consistent by using LSN data, but it's worthwhile know that so we (I) don't get our (my) hopes up for a MASSIVE Ruby wave hahajs1663 wrote:FYI haven't looked through the rest but 2 of the 6 Ruby's listed here as having been given out are from last years applicants who just messed up their cycle data or w/e - so more accurate would be 24 (4)

Re: Number of Full Rides T14 Schools Give Out [data]
As mentioned the Northwestern scholarships listed are not quite full. Also, it is actually 4 on LSN not 5. One of those is actually from last year's waitlist (someone retook the LSAT).
