Re: Introducing The LSAT Trainer
I'd be glad to check out the book in-store. Any carriers outside of Amazon? I'll probably be self-studying this summer so I will make use of that 16 Week Schedule.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi -- unfortunately, it will be about 6 weeks before the books hit stores. However (as you've probably noticed) you can download five chapters for free from the website — they will give you a good indication of the book as a whole.0913djp wrote:I'd be glad to check out the book in-store. This seems much more relevant here. He's written a new book + made a website that's relevant to the community. B/S/GA is a market for used books.JamMasterJ wrote:Mods, nevermind - dude's legit but this should probably get moved to B/S/GA
I'd talked to a few mods about this. They have a no link policy. I think there ought to be some leeway for posts like this, that are announcing a potentially useful service that no one would have heard about otherwise. He's made a single post, so it's not like he's spamming.

Re: Introducing The LSAT Trainer
Shout out y'all (in the self study or class section):
lsattrainerwebsite wrote:A great example of the benefits of group study can be found on the website top-law-schools.com. Admittedly, the people on the site tend to be a self-selecting, highly-driven group; but every test cycle, a group of students gets together on the forum, decides to study together, then collectively makes improvements up until test day. There is amazing evidence of this in the forum archives—every group of students shows a level of improvement that would make any prep company jealous. If you can, try to form a study group in your area; otherwise, consider joining one online. The cost is small, and the benefit can be great.

yeah the dude has helped create probably THE most used study source for the LSAT that TLSers use, so whatever he posts is relevant in some sense as long as it has something to do with the lsat

Honestly, this dude isn't astro turfing or spamming...he's legitimately recommending his own product under a name that clearly disclaims his self-interest, in a non-obnoxious manner. I see no reason why this should not be allowed. If he made a new thread for this every day, that'd be uncoolJamMasterJ wrote:IBTL
Edit: I was scooped. Should've realized not everybody on TLS is as worthless as JMJ
