Interesting perspective. It makes sense, however disheartening it may be.
I wonder if below both median applicants sending LOCIs are as annoying to them as TTT emails are to us lol.

It is the only explanation I have ever heard that is backed by the data. Schools like Vanderbilt waitlist hordes of the same numbers every year that they have never taken. I guess they are just super neurotic that one year Nashville won't be so appealing.

Hahahaha if I was an admission officer I could see this! This goes back to the question though "Why did you waitlist me than son?"

Homeland is watchable but I wouldn't call it great. Morena Baccarin might be the hottest woman on TV though.

She is so hot. And yes, I created the account while I was in my honeymoon phase with Homeland..I've moved on to bigger and better things. I should just switch between this account (during homelands few great episodes a season, and a more applicable SN, like TheWiresagreatshow or Prettylittleliarsisagreatshow ;) )

Quick question: I am still CR2 as of 2/20. I visited the campus last week. I also disclosed a moving violation that was pending (red light camera ticket) on my app. Should I write an LOCI thanking the school for the tour and also update them that the case was dismissed?

CR2 2/25 and then 2/27 after CR1 on 2/11. I have a feeling I am headed for a WL as I am above the GPA median but not the LSAT median. This late in the game, is there data available on the likelihood of a WL as opposed to a rejection? Some of the TLS charts I've seen seem to indicate that the WL period is looming.

Thanks for reporting back! hopefully they're still reviewing applications, despite being short staffed.

I was looking at the thread from last year, and I wouldn't worry about things just yet. Around this time there was a point where people were going to "Decision Finalized" without final review. There were also a lot more people still stuck at CR1. Since they are definitely behind this year compared to last, it would be reasonable to say that if you are in final review now or are in CR2, you still stand a good chance I think.

well if you look at LSN, most people that were offered the 120k or slightly lower have not withdrawn yet and they are not sure how many of those they will get. I think they still haven't figured out if they have to downsize to keep their medians.

I'm relatively sure no decisions will come out until Monday at the earliest based on my visit yesterday.

That's what I gathered. Not surprised though, as I said before, it's their spring break.

Hopefully there will be movement by next Friday.

Alas that means my decision will likely come when I'm overseas or at Coachella, if its an admit it'll add to the experience if it's a deny ill have a good venue to off myself.

I wish I was going abroad or going to Coachella to take my mind off things. When I'm vacation or at a music festival, outside world doesn't matter anymore since I'm just too busy.

Looks like we're sharing a boat. Be prepared to wait.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
