Yes. But I don't believe anyone has recieved an email stating that we will be going into the second round of Faculty Review. Just the line at the top of the Status Checker.

So they are putting people in FR2 before even finalizing applicants from FR1...classy

Correct. TLS pretty much invented the FR2 designation.

What is bothering me is that I don't remember if the sentence at the top stated I was going to Faculty Review on 1/25. I never really looked up there. I only looked at the Status above the current status date :/

If you are in FR1 it almost certainly was up there. Don't over-think it

Congrats to the new admit(s)!!!!

Now for the FR people, do you get a sense that they are admitting applicants with less-stella numbers but probably strong softs/great applications? I'm the exact opposite, good numbers with weak softs and no tailored application (no why berkeley, 2-page standard ps). I'm not feeling good about my chance in FR.
