I got the same scholly (90k) and contacted the office to negotiate a full-ride, they informed me that they don't issue full-rides until march once they have a good look at their entire applicant pool. 3.6 166mip1011 wrote:I hadn't heard that. Thanks, I'll try and be patientdproduct wrote: I didn't get my status checker information for nearly 2 weeks. Some people last cycle waited 2 months before they got their logins, only to find out they were admitted in the next few days. LMU seems to dgaf the status checker part. If 2 weeks pass and you have nothing, shoot them an email.

"A decision regarding your admissions application was made on January 10, 2013. A decision letter was sent through the U.S. Mail and should reach you within seven business days of the above date."
Here we go, doesn't look good after a couple rounds of acceptances.

I'd be optimistic, if I were you. There haven't exactly been "rounds," but more like a couple admits a day for the past few. Mine was DR on Monday, then before that a couple went DR on Friday, then not long before that were holidays.owlie wrote:"A decision regarding your admissions application was made on January 10, 2013. No promises but if you look at those that reported dates to LSN last year there was only one rejection before mid Feb. that wasn't EA, and that poor unfortunate soul had numbers in the neighborhood of 150 and 2.7.

Received my admissions packet today with the 90k scholarship. As mentioned above, they will not issue full-rides until March. Good luck to all those waiting and hopefully you'll be earning some $$$$$

Got in a few days ago with 90k. Haven't seen the packet yet but had a family member open it for me.
Anyone else faced with the 90k at Loyola vs ~10k at Irvine vs. still waiting for a miracle from USC/UCLA?

Checking in (super late)! Just got a fee waiver email from Loyola and decided to go for it. Also planning to apply to Pepperdine and UC Irvine. Had early dreams of UCLA but when my October retake didn't come back the way I wanted, It discouraged me from the CA portion of my cycle all together. After looking into Loyola et al, it seems that there are some quality programs and some generous money. Hope I'm not too late!

No but seriously, the only place slower than LMU is perhaps USC... which... I can't even begin to discuss the time-warp they are operating under.MASSattack1 wrote:Welcome to the party! I know USC is slow, but at least there I'm under review, whereas at Loyola, I'm still "Incomplete." Seriously, Loyola?dproduct wrote:No but seriously, the only place slower than LMU is perhaps USC... which... If it helps, last year, I never even received a status checker until a week before I was admitted. I went, status checker -> decision rendered. LMU is a hot mess. They're probably already finishing up your application and you don't even know itMASSattack1 wrote:I know USC is slow, but at least there I'm under review, whereas at Loyola, I'm still "Incomplete." Re: Loyola (Los Angeles) c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Checking in late as well. After recieving my December score, I sent in my application although my numbers are below Loyola's 25th marks. I received a fee waiver, so figured why not give it a shot (same for the other schools I applied to). I'm a URM, CA resident and attended a Catholic high school that has strong connections with the university, so I'm hoping I might have some pull regardless of my unfortunate scores. But good luck to everyone with your cycles. Will be checking in periodically!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
