Ok what are we to make of the Emory and W&L jump to 24?? Should we really hold them in higher regard than BU/BC/Fordham??

Yes. Way better chances at biglaw. Boston and NYC firms are gonna flock to W&L and Emory OCI in droves.

Dearest colleagues,

I must respectfully disagree with the above sentiment. The vast majority of vault 50 firms plan meticulously plan their recruiting schedule based upon the USNWR. Human resources professionals at these firms eagerly await the release of rankings every year and, upon release, consult this modern Oracle of Delphi. Washington & Lee's auspicious ascent from 30 to 24 will surely result in at least 31% more vault 50 recruiting. Those considering law school #27 would surely be remiss in not choosing law school #24.
