I do have a Droid, but I have to leave it on vibrate in my bag at work. Checking my email several dozen times, since I work all day on a computer, is much more subtle. Or at least I hope it is.ya'll gotta get androids or something, saves me that one headache.

Dear UConn,
I applied back in November...it is now MARCH and I still have not heard anything from you. Please let me know a decision (an acceptance would of course be nice as you are my top choice) so I can figure out my plans for the next three years!
Thank you!

I feel you. I heard on the Feb. 22nd after being complete in mid November. Unfortunately, I was waitlisted. I really want to go, so I hope I can get off that waitlist around the deposit deadline. What are your stats?

Soooo...I take it, no one has heard anything from UConn this week? They have been releasing some answers at least once a week in the past, so maybe today? tomorrow?I hope?

Scholarship email yesterday. Nonrenewable of course. Decent sized, puts first year costs under $5k but still makes UConn far less attractive financially than elsewhere.
I tried to negotiate, no dice. Dean says they have limited funds (state school) for awards and can only up offers after others decline offers.

Do you mind sharing your stats and your scholly offer? You can pm me if you're comfortable with that. I'm really hoping to get something good for the first year. Thanks.

Does this mean that no one got in this week on TLS? Wow, I thought for sure the rest of us would hear. The wait continues...

Has anyone's status checker changed at all this week? I still can't believe it's March, and I haven't heard anything.

My status update has not moved since February 11, when I went into review. I called today, just to ask how far along in the process everything was, and to make sure Financial Aid had all my information, since the deadline is one week away, and the kind woman I spoke with said there will be some that do not hear from UConn until April. Seriously, April. The first seat deposit at all my schools is on April 15th! Looks like we are not going to have a lot of time to make decisions...+1 AGREED!!! When did you go complete? My status checker just says complete 1/24... and hasn't even gone IR yet. I wonder if they had an usually high number of applicants this year. Curious...kitkat37 wrote:My status update has not moved since February 11, when I went into review. Re: UConn Applicants 2011
I sent my application from LSAC in late December, but the office of admissions was closed until January 3. So I went Complete January 5. I think they did have more than normal, but they usually get over 2000 apps, with less than 200 seats. I was told before that the weather (i.e. snowstorms in January in which the school closed) caused them quite a setback. When did you go complete?
