Where should I apply/What are my chances for different T14 schools?
Not sure where to apply, planning to apply in Nov but haven't gotten my LSAT back. Worst PT 163 best PT 167 so 164 is my guess but could be a bit better too.
My undergrad school is top 5 in the country so I don't even know how I would have gotten a higher GPA since I am in the top 5% of my class, but I get that my LSAT is bad. I have a strong resume apart from my LSATs basically.

Depends on LSAT, but anywhere in the 163-166 band is going to be tough for the T14. 167 starts to open the door slightly, but still not great.
What are your goals for the law degree? That's the main driver behind where you should apply.

I applied with pretty much identical stats (same LSAT, a higher GPA, but probably worse softs) and got WL'd at every T20 I applied to. This was also applying in a year that was much less competitive. Granted, I did not apply to some of the schools where I may have had better chances (i.e. Cornell), but your odds at a T14 I would say are generally slim. I've been happy at the T40 that offered me a great scholarship, though I would also not advise others in taking the same gamble I did unless they could see themselves happy in a more local practice.

LSAT a bit low, but maybe a shot at lower t14? I had 166 and 3.84 and I think the 2 points were all the difference. Got into 3 T14 and settled on NYU with $. Definitely apply broadly, in case they throw schollies at you, so that you can negotiate with other schools...
