GPA calculation

Postby kamalbabayev » Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:37 am

Hi guys. I am having a problem to calculate my GPA. I graduated from a law school in Azerbaijan. My average GPA is 87.385. But our grade system is different than US. Here 91-100 means A, 81-91 means B, 71-81 means C. There are no B+ C+ C- and etc. here. I saw a post in this forum a guy from Turkey whose GPA was 86 and LSAC converted it as 3.55. Should i consider it as 3.5? You know it was really hard to study in Azerbaijan because Soviet's corrupted system is still in universities. I really want to attend top ranked law schools. I Want to know my chance.

You'll need to submit all your previous education information through the Credential Assembly Service at lsac.org. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you what your GPA will be rated. Only LSAC can do that.
