Law degree helpful? Who knows - knowing how to read/write contracts and how to structure transactions is somewhat useful in a lot of businesses.

You joined this forum in September of 2009. It has been 1,600 days since you joined this forum, give or take a few. You have over 12,000 posts on here. That approximates 8 posts per day for 4.5 years. Assuming it takes you an average of 5 minutes per post (some take seconds, presumably you do some research for others) You have devoted 40 minutes per day for 1600 days to providing commentary or advice on here. Since you are a graduate of the class of 2013. Would it be safe to assume you did not post on here a whole lot during your first year (maybe second) of law school? If I can make that assumption I can push many of the averages UP for your post law school posting rate/averages. You have spent approximately 60,000 minutes on this blog alone, which translates to 1,000 hours, or 41 days... This is all assuming you only post on here. A single blog, of many in existence.

That said. From your posts you have obviously had a rough go of it. I scanned many of your recent posts (ones not on this topic) and although I did not go back a great ways. I think you have some sour grapes. I like your smart A ness, because it tells me you have funneled your failure or perceived failure, into this blog...where you can share the good tidings with all.

Onto why you give me hope.

If you can make it, so can I! Maybe we can share a basement apartment someday where we crank out posts like clockwork. We could write an algorithm that would key on certain words in someones post and have it kick out a semi canned response. It could even grab some quotes from their post, and put our canned responses. It wouldn't matter that it doesn't make sense. It's not like you read peoples posts on here for substance anyways. It would be fun. Most importantly, it would keep you from losing another 41 days to this place and you could get some sun...or clients for your firm.

For us kids, 1,000 hours is only a fraction of our lengthy remaining lifespans. 41 days is a joke when you can statistically expect to live another 55 years. For an ancient, 29-year-old grandpa like yourself, wasting away in the twilight of your pitiful existence, each second is more precious than the last.

In the past few days, you've made a mere 7 posts on this "blog." But in those posts you wrote a total of 2,712 words. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so we'll round up and generously call it three pictures. Three dusty old pictures that someone will find in the attic someday, wonder briefly about, and then promptly discard. The last remnants of your existence, tossed in the garbage where it belongs.

I like this place. I can see how much fun I am going to potentially have interacting with my younger, more educated, cultured, brilliant, honorary PHD's from life experience alone... 23-somethings. While I toil with depends, spastic colon, Parkinson's, dementia, and all the other stuff I can't remember because of aforementioned dementia. Wait...

where am I?

... Good debate, even with some ignorant fools, is still good debate. I did get a great deal of quality advice out of many posters. However, some of the knuckleheads who I just referenced managed to jump on another poster and flame away. Some of the really good banter on here had nothing to do with the OP, me... it was between an even dustier old bag, and the knuckleheads.

I enjoyed all of it.

Funny thing about my personality is that in real life, in the real world...I have rarely ever run into anyone who does not like me. At least not for my personality being "off putting"... This being the case I immediately questioned my whole existence. What if I had to go 29 years and some months to finally discover that my personality sucks. So, I had a bunch of people (three)... read my posts, as well as the others on here. Fortunately I was able to pull the proverbial loaded gun from my mouth. Phew. That was close.

I hope all the good, quality, thoughtful...posters on here don't take any offense. You ladies and gentlemen have helped me. I have begun to understand what I am looking at.
