I would do one of two things if I were you:

1. ED NYU, very likely get in.
2. Apply RD to Columbia, NYU, and the lower T14, potentially getting money to one of them.

I feel like if I ED Columbia I will prob just get waitlisted, but I do prefer Columbia to NYU. And if I RD everywhere I can totally see myself getting waitlisted or rejected throughout the top 10 and have to settle for DCNG. But If I ED to NYU it seems like I have a pretty good shot...I've just have my heart set on Columbia for the longest time T_T

EDing Columbia and NYU don't provide statistically significant boosts. Don't waste it, because there is a possibility you wrangle a little scholly money; just RD early. You've got a pretty good shot at both Columbia or NYU, and your LSAT should make you a reasonably competitive splitter this cycle, since CCN will be hungry to keep their LSATs up. Apply H and CCNP down, but if you don't get in (or WL->get in) at any of HCCNP, I'd be *very* surprised. Even with the last 2 cycles' stats (which this cycle should be better than), your chance of not getting into any of HCCNP would be:

.80 * .50 * .17 * .83 = 5.64%, not counting any waitlists. With waitlists, you're close to 100%. This is aggregate over the last two cycles, so this cycle, you're probably close to a lock for getting one of these schools.

GL this cycle.

Thank you! I appreciate the help, this puts my mind more at ease.
