What are my chances for Lewis and Clark? LSAC says between 43-53%. Would it be worth retaking the LSAT to up my chances or should I just go with what I have?

RETAKE

Even if you're dead set on going to L&C (and you should take a look at their employment numbers on LST first), you should retake. Not only will you increase your chances of admission, you'll increase your chances for scholarship money, thus mitigating the risk potential of attending a school that isn't placing very well at the moment. Your GPA is great, if you can increase your LSAT score by ten points you're looking at possibly a T14 school, and definitely money at schools in the L&C range.

Probably 40% shot right now.
A 161 (above median) would make you close to a lock, and you would probably get a scholarship.

You should definitely retake.

I'm wondering if the very late application will offset the benefit of retaking.

Wait a cycle then. Take a few months studying for the LSAT. I got a $17k/year scholly at L&C with far worse grades than you. Even if you don't get more than that (which you could), that means that your cost of not deferring a year could be over $50,000. Don't rush into law school without doing everything you can to mitigate the cost.
