170 (Multiple LSAT) / 3.77 - T14 chances?
Asian / Went to an average undergraduate state school that is a member of AAU.
GPA: 3.77, but I missed Latin honor by 0.01, meaning that I am probably around 89.9 percentile (side question: do ranks within the UG school matter?). At least I am a Phi Beta Kappa, if that helps.
LSAT: Canceled(Oct11)/164(Feb12)/170(Jun12). This is my most problematic area - I have a terrible case of test anxiety, so I under-performed in every single LSAT. My average PT scores have been around 175~178, but that doesn't matter at this point.
I'm planning to apply during the 2013-2014 cycle, so here are my questions:
1) What are my chances for T14 schools in general, considering my LSAT history?
2) What about Columbia in particular? Should I use ED for Columbia?

I think you'll get lower T14 for sure. At the end of the day, that ain't badafnaidel wrote:Asian / Went to an average undergraduate state school that is a member of AAU.

My mistake, I forgot to mention my softs.rad lulz wrote:
I'll be a military vet, but not in the U.S. (I was born in South Korea, and since I don't want to lose an option of having a Korean citizenship, I decided to serve. I'm not sure how much it would help, if at all).
I will have a recommendation from a prominent communication law scholar who frequently gets cited.
I also worked as a summer research assistant for him.

What about multiple LSATs with one canceled? That doesn't count as a unique situation?rad lulz wrote:Softs are blah

even though it's technically not a negative, it's definitely not a positive thing that could be considered a soft...afnaidel wrote:What about multiple LSATs with one canceled? That doesn't count as a unique situation?rad lulz wrote:Softs are blah
