I am a 0L but have made an effort to nurture relationships with partners at two different biglaw firms, both of which whom have told me that if I graduated and passed the bar that I had a job waiting if I so choose - they are not concerned with where I go (within reason lol).

Entry-level biglaw hiring happens after your 1L summer, not after graduation and bar passage.

Many a paralegal has gone to law school expecting a job to be waiting at their former firm. Many a paralegal has been disappointed. So have many not too distant relatives of biglaw partners.

Networking your way into a biglaw job is almost impossible without the requisite school and grades. Counting on it as a reason to go to law school is foolish.

162/2.35 in at kent with 7500/yr. Non traditional with work involving NDAs, m+a, and software contracts from a business analyst perspective. Also in at depaul with 15k a year and that horrible 3.2 stip.
