3.8/168
I have a 3.8 GPA and a 168 on the LSAT. I am currently spending a year post-undergrad working as a paralegal in a small law firm, which means more hands-on work with clients and legal docs, but not in the field of law I hope to study. I have decent softs but I'm worried about the quality of my LoRs because I didn't form any super-close bonds with professors. My goal is to go to University of Minnesota and I will need a pretty hefty scholarship to be able to do that as I'm out-of-state and have significant undergrad debt (primarily with relatives so looking "needy" on the FAFSA is out of the question). How are my chances of getting in and getting a MERIT scholarship here?

1. They don't consider debt when determining who is worthy of financial aid. So even is you had your loans through a public source it would not matter.
