What to do next? (Vs next year)

Post by indiaside » Fri Jan 07, 2011 11:21 am

I just took the LSAT after studying for 1 month (had a small window before next job).

I got a 166 (disappointing considering prep scores, satisfied for 1 month). I graduated with a 3.85 (Magna) from Duke U and was a BA at McKinsey and company (not sure if this would even be looked at before I am screened out).

I am waiting to apply next year.

1. Should I retake the LSAT again? (I was scoring 172 on all my preps but stumbled on games here)
2. What schools in the T20 can I get into with only my current stats?
3. How much of an improvement would be meaningful...

Re: Chances - (166/3.85 (Duke)/ McKinsey)

You have a shot at USC, WUSTL, and GW. It is getting late in the cycle though so it might be best to wait until next year to apply. If you apply early, you might crack the t14 as well.
